Somatic Movement Education +Therapy

Welcome. My name is Sally Morgan (she/her).

I specialize in working with adults in midlife who feel disconnected from their bodies or want to deepen their relationship with, and practice of, embodied movement and awareness.

I meet you where you are, and in the questions and curiosity you bring. I offer many possibilities and ways to embody, improvise, experiment, play, re-pattern, breathe, dance, move, rest, and listen.

My work is trauma informed, for all bodies and abilities.

Start where you are.

Are you looking to explore more interoceptive awareness or body-mind recovery support after a traumatic experience? Do you need movement support for chronic health conditions or specific disabilities, or rehabilitation from an injury or surgery?

Maybe you are interested in mindful movement to support recovery from burnout, overwhelm, or major life transitions? Or perhaps you are wanting to connect or reconnect with your sensing and dancing self? You also may simply want to move your body for self-care and exercise in a mindful way.

Slow down. Tune in.

Through various forms of somatic movement education and therapy I empower and support you in your process to becoming more present and embodied, so that you can sense, feel, and move, more consciously.

I help you to build comfort and trust in your body and engage in a greater understanding of the embodiment process.

The benefits of a regular movement practice are many, including: reduction of chronic pain/inflammation, support for overall mental health, increased energy, nervous system resilience, injury rehabilitation, increased strength, stability, and mobility.

What clients are saying…

“I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years. Sally is the clearest and most knowledgeable teacher I have ever had. She scaffolds instruction so effectively to meet the needs of students.”

— Jerry W.

“Sally has a strong knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics, which creates confidence and trust for practitioners to expand past limitations they may have been holding onto. The neck and shoulder rub with essential oils during savasana is amazing! I would come to class just for that!”

— Gillian A.

“Sally always considers safety and your personal level of comfort when achieving poses. She shows how you can be confident in the initial pose, giving you options for more advanced variations as well. Highly recommend!”

— Marla C.
