Policies + COVID-19 Safety 2023

Cancellation Policy

Pre-registration is required. Payment is required upon registration for all in-person and online sessions.

If you choose to cancel (or reschedule) your booking for a private/semi-private session, I ask you give at least 48-hours notice. Without 48-hours notice you will be charged the full fee.

If you are ill or there is an emergency, I ask you to do your best to let me know in advance of changes to our booking.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns

Make-up classes for illness will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Most often we can add a session on or you can participate in an online class to make up for any lost time.

If I am sick, I will give you as much notice as possible and will organize a make up class asap.

Refund Policy

For all sessions, a full refund is only available up until 7 days before your course or series of classes/sessions. After this point you may use the funds towards a future offering.

Logistics:

You will be required to sign a waiver of liability before participating in any sessions.

If you want to book a private or semi-private session/series of sessions in person, it is best if your first session is an Individual Assessment (involving a postural analysis, a discussion about your health and past injuries, and your goals/intentions for practice). Please see Offerings and the Studio for further information.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Please visit the Nova Scotia provincial guidelines for COVID-19.

Before coming to any in-person sessions please consider your health and the health of others. If you have had COVID-19 in the past 2 weeks or if you have been in close contact with anyone who has had Covid-19 in the past two weeks, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CLASS.

Space

My home studio is 200 square feet. Currently, I am teaching private individual and semi-private duet sessions in the studio. I am also teaching some small groups of up to four participants either as sessions or upon request. Upon arrival, please come right in the front door.

I also teach in community spaces. These may be listed in the description of your class/session.

Masks

You are not required to practice in a mask, but in all shared spaces in my home I would ask that you wear your mask. This means that upon arrival and departure, as well as during visits to the bathroom and kitchen, you should wear your mask. I will wear a mask during your entire visit (unless otherwise discussed). If you have a cold please wear a mask during your practice.

When teaching in community spaces, masks are encouraged but currently not required unless otherwise announced. Masks may be required if working in close proximity to others, please bring a mask with you.

Cleaning

All bathrooms and high touch surfaces are cleaned with disinfectant in between clients. Hand sanitizer is available at the entry and in the bathroom.

Mats and Props

Please bring your own mat to class. If you are stuck, I have extras, but for safety it is best you use your own. You are welcome to bring your own props but it is not necessary. All props used are cleaned/sanitized after each client.
